Token….” NEW ART SENSIBILITY”…..

ArtChain Token

ArtChain (ARTC) Tokens are distributed to artists and galleries who register with ArtChain.info. In this way, ArtChain.info represents a decentralized global community of artists and galleries working toward creating the first blockchain-based decentralized database for provenance. The value of the ARTC token is determined exclusively by the effort of this decentralized global art community. The ArtChain.info website merely displays the decentralized database of provenance in a coherent format suitable for human viewing.  All of the provenance data recorded in the bitcoin blockchain is public domain and may be viewed with any suitable blockchain explorer, such as BlockChain.info.

ARTC Tokens are ERC20 compliant meaning they can be transferred between any ERC20 compliant Ethereum wallet. The contract address for the ARTC Token is:
0xBeb347b4B4835ab84514E5f5a1e461fB4dF5681F

ARTC Tokens are currently trading on EtherDelta:

Contemporary technology is ushering in a new era for sculpture, comparable perhaps only to the invention of metal casting during antiquity. In his work Julian Voss-Andreae draw cutting-edge approaches from very diverse fields to re-imagine the ancient art of sculpture. His goal is to convey elements of our spiritual essence and open our eyes to the miraculous nature of the underlying nature of reality.

Julian Voss-Andreae started out as a painter in my youth and later switched to physics. Julian Voss-Andreae studied at the universities of Berlin and Edinburgh, and did his graduate research participating in a seminal experiment probing the foundations of quantum physics in one of the world’s leading research groups at the University of Vienna. His science training enables him to take advantage of the latest technologies to achieve my artistic visions. But most importantly, his first-hand experience of the enigmatic nature of reality has provided him with key cultural insights, informing my path ever since. Contrary to our strongly held prejudices about the workings of the universe, there simply is no ‘reality’ out there that is independent of us. Similarly, the divide we perceive between us and the rest of our world turns out to be an illusion: Ultimately, we cannot separate ourselves from each other and the rest of the universe, both in a physical sense as well as when it comes to our actions.

These kinds of ideas were well-known for millennia in certain Eastern spiritual traditions but in the West they appeared only relatively recently, at about the same time as non-representational art emerged in the early twentieth century. Quantum physics came as a complete surprise even to its discoverers and it stands in striking contrast to the old (and still absolutely predominant) ‘Newtonian’ paradigm, the mindset of separating subject and object, of detaching ourselves from nature, and of dividing the world into small parts assuming this will lead to an understanding of the whole.

Art is holistic in its very essence, both when we create it, as well as when we consume it. And art provides the seeds for our future. Before our future happens, we have dreamt it up. The central place where we, as a collective mind, dream up our future, is in art. It is therefore critical to harness the transformative powers inherent in art to get to the future we want. Julian Voss-Andreae believes a cultural change comparable in depth to the Renaissance is imminent. The urgent need for a paradigm shift is most obvious in our reckless attitude toward our environment; we are jeopardizing our future by rapidly making our planet uninhabitable. Art is a powerful driver of the cultural and spiritual change desperately needed. The lessons of quantum physics offer us a glimpse of a different way of dealing with each other and dealing with our world and Julian Voss-Andreae feels it is critical that those embryonic ideas get out into the cultural mainstream.

Julian Voss-Andreae’s work is a reminder of our fundamental connectedness, giving tangible expression to the vital paradigm shift from Newtonian separation to a renewed connection with Nature.

Michel Kirch…. Sublime….Mythes…. orateur visuel…..

Steven Durbach…..Dot Com… quantum physics… difference…

painting is done and here are the wild ramblings it took my brain on this morning]

Fish / birds / quantum dot evolution

There are things we get to
see as scientists/
observers.
and these things we
don’t get to see
the undescribeable

I hope that this therefore
Is what this painting
Is describing
The inherent order
And energetics of things
Making events /
Moments likely
And allowing them
To transition one
Into another

The activity in this painting
Is inspired by events
In a quantum
Dot.

Where we
Are trying to
Describe interaction
Of entities that withhold
Much of their information
Like Schrodingers Bird
We are not allowed
Into the Quantum Dot
Or Box.

In this box.. fish and birds
Are transitioning
into each other
sometimes causing energy shifts
sometimes appearing
and disappearing / formed
by
collapsed by
the energy clouds that
are at once the wombs
of creation
also the cauldron of
of entropy’s inexorable
walk.

A still from an animation which I am working on called Schrodinger’s Bird… it’s about how a bird may evolve in a quantum dot.

Christopher Anderson: Manic Compression, High Definition Society

“Cameras are now so advanced that the way we look at our image is now under the threat of becoming unrecognizable with its intense dedication to the state of high definition-pores counted, we recognize a hyper version of our once-future self absconded just far enough to promote simulation and techno-progress, but still close enough to give us doubt about our reflection.”

“We are in a techno-transitional time and we live in a high definition society. We live in a celluloid dream turned into a high definition digital bath in which our character(ship) is not only a façade of or former selves, but is actively engaged as a third party new skin between image-object functionality and the projection of coordinated self into the realm of this new frontier in which we exist only as digital fodder, our countenance due for a co-opted screen self manufactured by Boston Dynamics for their newest prototype, thus de-materializing our physicality or at the very least erasing the boundaries of human to that of simulation acknowledgement.”
